My Name in Books Tag

Hi,

I thought I’d do something different today. I saw this tag on Thrice Read, and it seemed like a lot of fun. I invite you all to try it if you’d like.

Here goes nothing…

T – Turtles All the Way Down by John Green

download

John Green’s newest novel since The Fault in Our Stars. It’s been on my mind lately, so it was an obvious choice. I’ve just started reading it, so excited.

E – Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon

This is one of the cutest gems on this list. How could I not?!

M – (The) Mothers by Brit Bennett

download

Ignore the “The” ok. I really loved this book and wanted to feature it, so allow it.

W – What We Lose by Zinzi Clemmons

download (2)

This is a moving account of how strange dealing with grief can be. Left my emotions all mixed up on the floor.

E – Exit West by Mohsin Hamid

download (3)

This book comes highly recommended across the booksphere. It’s on the top of my TBR.

K – (The) Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

Again, this might seem like cheating but it’s really hard to find a title that starts with K. Plus this a great book, I hear -it’s still on my TBR.

A – Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

I was going to get Ms Adichie on my list one way or another, luckily this title fits perfectly.

So there you have it, my name (TEMWEKA – in case you didn’t quite catch it) in books. Now just to find my name as a character in a book, heck even as a keychain and I’ll be over the moon.

Have you read any these books or plan to?
